When you purchase the card you will have the choice to have the gift card emailed to yourself or straight to the recipient. You can also input a message of your choice.

I would recommend having it sent to yourself, and forwarding it on (or printing it off) on the date of the special occasion to avoid spoiling the surprise.

The gift card balance will be shown in the email.

Using the card; After entering the gift card code at checkout, the recipient will see their remaining balance if there is any, and the code may be used unlimited times on separate purchases until the balance is used up. If their order total exceeds the value remaining on their gift card, they can pay the remainder using standard payment methods.

The card never expires.

If the code is misplaced it can be re-sent.
